A swarm of fruit bats, or flying foxes, from Kalong Island located in Komodo National Park in Indonesia's East Nusa Tenggara province head south to nearby Flores island to feed. Park officials said the huge bats inhabit the mangrove island of Kalong, which literally translates as the island of the bat, by day setting off in their thousands at sundown to feed on fruit bearing plants on nearby islands, returning to the mangroves to sleep again before dawn.Image Credit: AFP
