At new children's library in San Vicente, Spain. A new vertical garden is erected by an architect Jose Maria Chofre.
The six-story garden is situated on the dividing wall of an existing apartment building, the constructive solution consists of a metal structure built upon the deposit of concrete used for irrigation.
The plantation system was performed using cubic containers filled with substrate felt confined between two metal grids, one outdoor and one indoor. Containers are accessible and recordable from several corridors located in the rear, where it can be replaced.
In front stands a suspended scaffold that allows pruning and replacing specific species. The composition is formed by a pixel of different types of floral and herbaceous species of small size in the top and, ivy and ferns at the bottom in the courtyard formed between the garden and library.
