Microsoft introduces Windows Embedded Automotive 7 for automobiles

Yesterday, at the SAE Convergence 2010 Conference and Exhibition in Detroit, Microsoft has announced the Windows Embedded Automotive 7 that will use to integrate various services such as entertainment, communication, navigation and. Now the engineering will be able to create 2D and 3D graphics enabling functionality such as, voice recognition command interface supported with eight languages, U.S. English, U.K. English, German, Mexican Spanish, Continental Spanish, Canadian French, Continental French and Korean. Right now this technology will be delivered to top manufacturers like Fiat, KIA and Ford but hopefully Microsoft will increase the right to use platform after positive results.
