Latest shots form San Diego Comic Con International. San Diego Comic-Con International is a four-day event open to professionals, exhibitors, guests and celebrities held during the summer in San Diego, California, United States. Originally showcasing comic books, science fiction/fantasy and film/television and related popular arts, the convention has expanded over the years to include a larger range of pop culture elements, such as horror, anime, manga, animation, toys, collectible card games, video games, webcomics, and fantasy novels. Participants donning costumes and accessories to represent a specific character (called Cosplayers) are seen galore.
The convention is the largest in the Western Hemisphere, and second largest in the World after Angoulême International Comics Festival in France. These pictures are from the 2010 edition of San Diego Comic-Con which began on July 22.
