Deadlier Than Sharks New Killer Bacteria In Water-You Need To Know

Vibrio vulnificus-What you need to know about it.

We have so much to watch out for when it comes to living a long and healthy life, and some of the things that shorten that, is not knowing about the things that wreck havoc on us.

Who ever heard of, Vibrio vulnificus, if you ask most people they have not, but that lackof knowledge could make someone pay dearly...with their life.

It is a bacteria that is found in warm waters.

It can be transmitted to people through cuts or scrapes or by eating undercooked or raw shellfish such as oysters, clams, or crabs.

A short wading in knee-deep water turns deadly.

26 years old and healthy, Cason Yeager, died last week after being infected with the bacteria Vibrio vulnificus, just two days after he went swimming in the Gulf, his mother, Karen Yeager Mercer, told Florida’s WTSP.
