It now new that humans have been trying to fly with manually controlled wings etc. Also its known to everyone there was not even a single successful flight. But this time Canadian engineering student Reichert has made & taken flight at his prototype human powered flapping wing plane successfully.
A 28 years old Phd student from Toronto's institute of Aerospace studies has created the Snowbird & successfully complete its human-powered ornithopter flight about 475 feet at 16-mph. Snowbird features a wingspan around equivalent to Boeing 737 but very light weights of 94-lbs.
