Michael David Elliot escaped from the Ionia Correctional Facility Sunday night after donning a white kitchen worker uniform and sneaking through a hole in a fence around 6 p.m. or 7 p.m, which sounds like something straight off the movie screen, but it's not.

He is on the loose and there is no way to tell where he may be. He is considered to be Highly Dangerous.

Elliot (who was 20 years old at the time) was convicted of four counts of premeditated murder in Gladwin County, Michigan on March 14, 1994. Elliot was convicted of murdering Vickie Currie and Michael Tuffnell at their home in Bentley Township on August 8, 1993. Cathy Lane and Bruce Squires Tuffnell, Jr. were also shot and killed during the crime. Elliot shot all 4 people in the head.

Breaking News-Manhunt On For Escaped Quadruple Murderer
Police captured him Monday evening after a chase, authorities said. Police noticed a stolen vehicle which led into pursuit.
The police pursuit ended in a car crash. Deputies drew their guns as they moved in, but in the end, police said that the car thief turned out to be Michael Elliot -- while he tried to crawl out of a car window -- he quickly realized he had nowhere to run.
They thought they were pursuing a car thief. It turned out to be a convicted killer. Elliot surrendered without further incidents.
