Double- Leg Amputee U.S.Marine Treated So Bad On Flight He Broke Down

A Double- Leg Amputee U.S. Marine Was Treated So Bad On A Delta Airline Flight That He Broke Down.

Not Even The Flight Attendants Could Help Him, Because They Were The One's Responsible For His Breakdown.

Someone asked, "Are Marines Tough" , and the answer was, "Marines Are Beyond Tough Because, The Marine Corps have the toughest boot camp in the entire world...they are the nations finest warriors - this branch is the most physically demanding out of all the Military Forces".

So you can imagine the sheer mental anguish this Marine was placed under.

The Story:
Double- Leg Amputee U.S.Marine Treated So Bad On Flight He Broke Down

Marine Lance Cpl. Christian Brown, who is from Munford,

First he lost one leg above the knee, and the other below his hip after stepping on an explosive device in Afghanistan.

Then he lost his dignity while flying on Delta. According to reports, Brown, 29, was humiliated by the airline staff who clumsily wheeled him to the back of the plane, bumping into seated passengers along the way, and Refused to let him change seats with several fellow ticket-holder,s who offered the physically challenged Marine their seats in first class.

Tears streamed down the face of Marine Lance Cpl. Christian Brown, as a result of the treatment.

Army Lt. Col. Keith Gafford was also on that flight from Atlanta to D.C. and saw the whole shameful scene go down. He says Brown, who was also battling a fever of 104, was in tears.

…retired Army Lt. Col. Keith Gafford, held nothing back during a phone interview.

“I have been flying with Delta for a gazillion years and this crew treated Chris worse than you’d treat any thing, not even any body. I did 27 years in the military. I have seen a lot of things and have seen a lot of guys die, but I have never seen a Marine cry,” said Gafford, who served two tours in Iraq. “What the kid said was, ‘I have given everything that I can give and this is the way I am being treated? This is how I will be treated for the rest of my life?’”

In fact, Gafford added, first-class passengers offered to switch seats with Brown, “but the flight attendants said No!.

Also, Seeing the whole event unfold, retired Army Col. Nickey Knighton wrote a “customer care” report to the airline detailing the treatment of Brown, who was sitting in her same row toward the back of the plane.

“[He] was obviously humiliated by being paraded through the aircraft and was visibly upset,” Knighton wrote in her complaint to Delta.

There is no justification for this despicable type of treatment to any human being, and definitely not in this case, where a soldier has given up so much for his country.
