Wow, Is the pay so low at Walmart that they have to put up donation baskets so employees can have something to eat for Thanksgiving?
We know the economy is still abysmal but this is downright disheartening, if this is actually whats going on.

There are many ways to look at this, but it has been clear in numerous reports that the pay at Walmart is a little on the scrappy side. and nothing to write home about.

Call him a lightweight whistleblower but a concerned employee (identity withheld due to fear of reprisal) took the following picture of a sign posted in the employee's break area.

This is not a new wave or unique scenario of an unheard of action, earlier this year the Mcdonald empire advised employees to seek other ways to boost their income, because their wages qualified them for food stamps and public assistance.

It seems low paying jobs may only be subsidies for public assistance.

Either way it broadcasts loud and clear, It's hard to make a living for a great number of people, and its getting ridiculously hard to survive.

The Great American Dream may be slowing morphing from,"A house with a white picket fence" to, "A place to stay with a plate of food".

Taken at a Walmart store in Canton, Ohio supposedly for the purpose of insuring, those employees without other sources, can have some food on the table at Thanksgiving.

You would think they would get a free chicken or turkey for Thanksgiving from the Megastore.

When inquiries were made the retail giant put there on spin on the sign.

They reportedly said that the sign is for employees who may have suffer through unforseen hardships and maybe a little strapped for celebrating the Holiday.

Whatever the right spin is on the story, it's still a reflection of the too long Sad State Of The Economy.
