Last Bell 2011 in Moscow City

Last Bell is the day when schools ring the last bell for ending graduation session. Today in Moscow about 55,000 graduates of the 1300 schools walked out from their institution with pleasure of success. Traditionally, graduates celebrate the holiday on Poklonnaya Hill, VVC, Sparrow Hills, and Red Square. More than 8,000 schoolchildren conducted tours by boat on the Moscow River, and 4,000 took part in bus tours. No serious incidents were reported. This year's festival was surprisingly calm. Unlike last year there was virtually no drunks. More than 6 000 police officers were hired to maintain law and order.
