Songkran: Splashing Thai New Year

Thai New Year starts on April 13. This 3 days event is called Songkran. The event is celebrated by visiting the temples, splashing water on each other and playing with elephants. Splashing water, not only, is fun in Thai hot weather on this occasion but also considered as an act of wishing good luck. [27 Shots]
