122nd Rose Parade- 2011

Welcome to 2011 and the Rose Parade, which is in its 122nd year rolling down Colorado Boulevard in Pasadena. Under crisp, clear skies and temperatures in the low 40s, parade-goers got a picture-perfect morning for the procession. This year’s parade features 47 floats, 22 bands and 22 equestrian entries and is themed “Building Dreams, Friendships and Memories.” [44 Shots]

Pasadena — The entertainment industry is saluted with the city of Los Angeles’ float, “Cirque du Soleil Comes to Town,” which simultaneously promotes the summer arrival of a new Cirque du Soleil show at the Kodak Theater in Hollywood.
