As any bride and groom will confirm it is the little things that make their big day special. The flowers, the hair, the first dance ... but for newlyweds Ben and Nicky Williams it really was the smallest thing that made the day so memorable. The couple shunned the traditional Rolls Royce or Jaguar for a wedding car instead leaving the ceremony in a 57in bubble car.
Quick getaway? Newlyweds Nicky and Ben Williams opted for a bubble car with a top speed of just 10mph. And it took 25-year-old Nicky 15 minutes to squeeze her wedding dress into the tiny Peel three-wheeled electric car after getting hitched.
Ben, 28, who runs an industrial cleaning firm, took the wheel of the dinky motor which has a top speed of just 10mph. Primary school teacher Nicky said: 'It was hilarious. The train on my dress was quite long and took ages to fold up into the car.
'Luckily we didn't have much luggage because there was no room in the back.It was great fun.'
The couple drove the car from Weobley Church in Herefordshire five miles to the reception. Ben's brother Darren, 23, said: 'Ben and Nicky kept the car a secret from all the guests. 'When they came out the of the service everyone was wondering where the wedding car was and then they came driving out in the bubble car - it was fantastic.'
